Sam Nuernberger joined the NDCG Team in 2013, when she moved back to St. Louis after working in the neighboring Midwest cities: Chicago and Kansas City. While in Chicago, Sam worked as a Media Buyer for Starcom USA, a large advertising firm. She planned quarterly and annual advertising campaigns for the Samsung and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association accounts. She also spearheaded a $4.25 million print campaign for The American Egg Board.

While living in Kansas, Sam worked with a team of cardiologists to develop and market CardioTabs health supplements. She led the team’s social media footprint and handled numerous on-site sales initiatives. Sam graduated from the University of Kansas’ school of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Sam moved back to St. Louis in June, 2013 to follow her passion to become more involved in social justice and community development. She has recently become an active member with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of St. Louis and lives in the historic Lafayette Square neighborhood.
